If you’ve installed version 24H2 of Windows 11 for your business, you might have noticed an annoying glitch in File Explorer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

File Explorer is that familiar window you use to browse your files and folders. Normally, it\u2019s straightforward \u2013 but some people are running into issues with the \u201cSee more\u201d menu after downloading this update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The menu, which is marked by three little dots, usually pops up below your mouse cursor, giving you options like \u201cSelect All\u201d or \u201cView Properties\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But thanks to a recent bug, the \u201cSee more\u201d menu is flying up to the top of the screen, often disappearing out of sight. And if you\u2019re using File Explorer in full-screen mode, some menu options might not even be visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frustrating, to say the least.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whats the work around?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Luckily, there\u2019s a simple workaround: Just make sure you\u2019re running File Explorer in windowed mode where it shares the screen with other applications. To do this, click the square icon in the top-right corner (next to the \u201cX\u201d you\u2019d click to close it).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can then resize the File Explorer window, allowing you to use the \u201cSee more\u201d menu, even if it\u2019s still misbehaving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The good news is that Microsoft are aware of the problem. They\u2019re working on a fix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
